One week left. Kind of.
I mean, my last chemo treatment is in a week. But then there’s some after stuff. I’ve got another PET scan (🤞🏻), picc line removal, and another echocardiogram to check how the fluid around my heart is doing - hopefully GONE.
Then? Life after cancer. Not just living my life as a healthier person who no longer has cancer. But, the realities of what life looks like after you’ve had cancer.
I don’t exactly know what either of those looks like yet. I know some of the ways it’s changed me so far, but not who I’ll be a week, a month, or a year out from cancer treatment. I’m excited to find out, and I know I’ll have the support system to tackle whatever it brings.
But for now: ONE WEEK LEFT!! 🎉
In practice of gratitude and positivity, here are a few things that made me happy this week:
I ordered a fun limited edition of a book (I’ll share when it arrives. Hint: 🤮👿)
Jess and I got complimented by our fave workers at the Plant Store. They always hype us up.
Short one this week, but lots of love 💚
